- José by Matilde Herrera.
'José' (in Spanish) was written by Matilde Herrera, Rafa Beláustegui's former wife and mother of Valeria, José and Martín Beláustegui. It is an extraordinary account of the children's upbringing and involvement in the militancy of the time, as well as the heartbreaking anguish of the searches once they're kidnapped. The focus is on José, by all accounts an amazingly charismatic and sensitive young man who was precocious in everything in his life.
