Mercedes

In one of the many surprising "coincidences" around the making of the film we met Mercedes Perez Sabbi, who worked with Patricia at the Cuban embassy until 1976. She was not aware of Patricia’s disappearance until many years later because for security reason the embassy workers didn’t share their last names. After she learned in 1992 she wrote a short story dedicated to Patricia, which is how we found her.
